Return and Refund Policy

MR. PSYC — RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Version 1.1 — Effective 5 November 2025 Contact: info@mrpsyc.in | +91 82955 45210
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) constitutes an integral and legally binding part of the contractual relationship between Mr. Psyc (operated by its parent entity) (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) and any individual or institutional User (“You”, “Your”, “Client”, “Participant”) who accesses, purchases, or utilizes any service, consultation, digital program, subscription, assessment, or institutional offering provided by the Company. This Policy governs the circumstances, eligibility, limitations, and procedures for requesting refunds or reversals of payments made for services related to counselling, psychiatric consultations, mental-health screenings, subscription packages, digital wellbeing programs, corporate or school initiatives, LMS training courses, nurturing programs, and all other offerings provided under the umbrella of the Company. The User acknowledges that mental-health services constitute specialized professional engagements requiring reserved time slots, prior preparation, allocation of licensed or trained professionals, digital content distribution, and intellectual property access unique to the therapeutic and behavioural intervention domain. Therefore, unlike ordinary consumer services or physical product purchases, mental-health services involve significant irreversible work. Once initiated, they cannot be “returned,” “restored,” or “reset” in a traditional commercial sense. The User further understands that refunds for such services must be governed by clear legal guardrails, clinical ethics, operational practicality, and reasonable commercial limitations consistent with therapeutic practice, tele-counselling regulations, and digital services law. By purchasing, booking, accessing, or engaging with any service on the platform, the User irrevocably consents to abide by the terms set forth herein. No verbal representations, informal communications, or contradictory statements by counsellors, support staff, or agents shall supersede this written Policy. The Company reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the criteria explicitly provided in this document.
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES GOVERNING REFUNDS
This Policy is founded on the principle that mental-health services, digital wellness programs, and behavioural coaching modules involve direct professional effort, immediate utilization of intellectual property, or access to proprietary therapeutic frameworks. Accordingly, refunds are granted only under strictly controlled circumstances. The User acknowledges that:
  1. All purchases constitute a commitment to engage in a therapeutic relationship or structured program.
  2. Refund eligibility is evaluated based on service type, consumption status, time elapsed since purchase, and the Company’s ability to reassign professional resources.
  3. Once a service is accessed, used, initiated, or allocated, it is no longer refundable unless expressly allowed herein.
The Company shall not be obligated to provide any refund unless the User satisfies the exact requirements of this Policy.
2. REFUNDS FOR COUNSELLING SESSIONS
A counselling session, once delivered either partially or fully, is strictly non-refundable. Counselling constitutes personalized professional labour that cannot be reversed once commenced. A User may request a refund only if:
  • The session was cancelled by the Company and a rescheduled slot was not acceptable to the User;
  • The professional failed to attend or initiate the session, and no rescheduling option was provided;
  • The User was charged erroneously due to a verifiable technical billing error.
If a User voluntarily cancels a counselling session within the allowed cancellation window (as defined in the Cancellation Policy), the Company will issue a refund only if the session was paid for individually. Packaged sessions are not refunded; instead, an applicable session may be retained for future use or forfeited if cancellation timelines are not met. Refund requests arising from dissatisfaction with counselling, discomfort with therapeutic style, perceived incompatibility, emotional difficulty, or disagreement with professional recommendations do not constitute valid grounds for refund under any circumstance. Therapeutic outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and the Company bears no liability for subjective dissatisfaction.
3. REFUNDS FOR PSYCHIATRIC CONSULTATIONS
Psychiatric consultations involve clinical evaluation, medical judgment, and preparation that often begins before the session. As such:
  • Consultations that have begun or where the psychiatrist has already reviewed the User’s documents, symptoms, or case notes are strictly non-refundable.
  • A refund may be granted only if the psychiatrist fails to attend the appointment and rescheduling is not feasible.
  • Cancellations within penalty windows do not qualify for refunds under any circumstances.
Refund requests based on disagreement with medical advice, medication recommendations, non-receipt of prescriptions due to regulatory limitations, or dissatisfaction with clinical recommendations do not qualify for refund.
4. REFUNDS FOR DIGITAL SCREENINGS AND ASSESSMENTS
Digital psychological screenings, addiction assessments, burnout evaluations, adolescent assessments, and other clinical tools are non-returnable and non-refundable once accessed. This includes scenarios where:
  • The User opened the assessment;
  • The User viewed any part of the questionnaire;
  • The User initiated, partially completed, or completed the screening.
If the User purchased a screening by mistake and did not access it in any form, the Company may, at its discretion, issue a refund if the User submits a request within thirty (30) minutes of purchase. Screening results, once generated, are intellectual property and cannot be revoked or destroyed for the purpose of refund claims.
5. REFUNDS FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after activation. The User retains access to all included services until the end of the billing cycle. Quarterly or annual subscriptions may be considered for partial refund only under the following narrow conditions:
  1. The refund request is submitted within seven (7) days of initial purchase; AND
  2. The User has not consumed any counselling session, psychiatric consultation, screening, or nurturing feature included in the plan.
If any included service has been used, the refund amount shall be prorated by deducting used sessions at the standard (non-discounted) rate, not the reduced package value. This ensures fairness and prevents misuse of bundled discounts. Refund requests made after 7 days are automatically denied, irrespective of usage. Auto-renewed charges are strictly non-refundable. The User bears responsibility for turning off auto-renewal at least forty-eight (48) hours before renewal.
6. REFUNDS FOR DIGITAL PROGRAMS & BEHAVIOURAL COURSES
Digital programs—including stress management, digital detox, anxiety modules, depression support journeys, self-help lessons, audio-visual guidance, and reflective exercises—are non-refundable once:
  • the User accesses the content,
  • the User opens a module or lesson,
  • the User receives the first nurturing message,
  • the User interacts with the program dashboard.
Such content involves immediate consumption, intellectual property exposure, and backend system allocation; therefore reversibility is not possible. Refunds may be granted only if the User has neither accessed nor initiated any portion of the program and submits a refund request within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase. After this period, no refunds shall be offered even if unused.
7. REFUNDS FOR CORPORATE, SCHOOL, AND INSTITUTIONAL SERVICES
Institutional engagements involve extensive resource allocation. Accordingly:
  • Workshops, training sessions, and school/corporate events cancelled more than seven (7) days in advance may qualify for full refund.
  • Cancellations between seven (7) and three (3) days qualify for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations within seventy-two (72) hours are non-refundable.
Bulk screening credits, once generated, are non-refundable under all circumstances. However, unused credits may be transferred to another batch within ninety (90) days upon administrative approval but shall not be refunded. Corporate retainer fees already billed or consumed are not refundable under any circumstances.
8. LMS COUNSELLOR TRAINING COURSE REFUNDS
The LMS training program includes proprietary educational material, assessments, certification modules, and content licensure. Therefore:
  • Once a User accesses course content, downloads material, attempts assessments, or participates in sessions, the training fee becomes strictly non-refundable.
  • Refunds are permitted only if no content has been accessed AND the request is submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase.
No refunds shall be provided for certification failures, dissatisfaction with course difficulty, or voluntary discontinuation by the trainee.
9. PAYMENTS, REVERSALS, AND DISPUTES
All refunds, where approved, shall be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe. The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by payment gateways, banks, or third-party intermediaries. Any attempt to initiate a chargeback without first contacting the Company shall constitute a breach of this Policy. The Company reserves the right to:
  • immediately suspend the User’s account,
  • deny future services,
  • submit evidence to financial institutions to contest chargebacks,
  • pursue legal recovery for fraudulent claims.
Users must contact support at info@mrpsyc.in before raising financial disputes.
10. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS (ABSOLUTE CONDITIONS)
Refunds are not provided under the following circumstances:
  1. Dissatisfaction with counselling or professional advice
  2. Emotional discomfort experienced during sessions
  3. Disagreement with therapeutic or psychiatric recommendations
  4. Unused subscription services due to User unavailability
  5. Failure to attend sessions (“no-shows”)
  6. Cancellations outside permitted windows
  7. Partial usage of bundled services
  8. Late start or early termination of digital courses
  9. Platform access issues caused by the User’s device or network
  10. Change of mind after booking or subscription
  11. Attempt to misuse discounts or program benefits
  12. System misuse, fraudulent activity, or account violation
Under no circumstances shall subjective dissatisfaction constitute grounds for refund.
11. SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS
In cases of verified medical emergencies, accidents, hospitalization, or bereavement, the Company may, at its sole and exclusive discretion, consider partial refunds or credits, provided sufficient documentation is submitted. Approval is subject to internal review and is not guaranteed.
12. NO WARRANTY AND LIMITED LIABILITY
The Company does not guarantee therapeutic outcomes or emotional results. Refunds cannot be granted based on expected outcomes, personal expectations, or emotional responses arising from therapy or counselling.
13. PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING REFUND
All refund requests must be submitted exclusively through: Email: info@mrpsyc.in Phone: +91 82955 45210 Requests submitted to counsellors, WhatsApp numbers, or personal staff channels are invalid. Proof of purchase, identity verification, and reason for refund must be provided.
14. AMENDMENTS
